Sneak Peek: Vanity Fair International Best-Dressed List 2011

Fashion heavyweight Vanity Fair magazine offers us a glimpse at the 72nd annual list of celebrities, royals and entrepreneurs from around the globe that wowed them with a supreme sense of style throughout the year.

It’s no surprise that Kate Middleton made the list. Anything the Duchess of Cambridge steps out in immediately flies of the racks of retailers from London to Los Angeles. President Barack Obama and frugal First Lady Michelle Obama, who has never hidden her love of bargain shopping at Gap and J. Crew, were elected one of the “Best-Dressed Couples.” The always dapper “NBC Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams dressed his way right into the “Hall of Fame.” And what fashion list would be complete without a nod to the wild child of style Lady Gaga? Vanity Fair kindly placed her in the “Fashion Originals” category with soulful singer Janelle Monáe.
