A woman was attacked by someone who thought she was Casey Anthony, Oklahoma’s KOTV reports.
Sammay Blackwell left her job at a convenience store in Chouteau, Okla., at 10:30 p.m. Friday night and said a woman told her she looked like Casey Anthony. Police say that woman, Shireen Nalley, then ran her down on the road and slammed her van into the back of Blackwell’s truck.
Blackwell then pulled into a parking lot, but Nalley followed her, she said. “She hit me again, causing my vehicle to flip two and a half times, landing on the driver’s side, and I just laid there playing dead,” Blackwell told KOTV.
Police eventually arrested Nalley for assault and battery with a deadly weapon and related charges. She allegedly later told the police she was “trying to save the children.” Cops also say she was “severely impaired on an unknown drug.”
Coincidentally, Blackwell’s daughter’s name is Caylee, the only thing she shares in common with the woman recently acquitted of murder.
“I don’t look that much like her,” she told the TV station. “So what about people who actually do look like her and live closer to Florida, instead of Oklahoma, what’s going to happen to those people?”
