Citizens Bank Park: Good Beer Guide

Victory's Hop Devil: One of the many great brews being poured at Citizen's Bank Park. Credit:

With the Phillies finally getting their home opener underway versus the Royals, tens of thousands of fans thirsty for baseball and all the incredible craft beer on tap at Citizens Bank Park will be heading down to Pattison Avenue.

For fans of both, the indecision can be painful: Wander around looking for that prized HopDevil and risk missing a Ryan Howard Homer? Pah!

Here’s a little list of some of the best craft brews at CBP and where you can find them:

Victory Brewing Co.’s Prima Pils is a perfect pour on a hot summer day, but also look for their Summer Love Ale, out early at CPB.

They were kind enough to provide a list of sections where Victory is poured AND a little section map, too.

Over at Crossing Broad, Lee Porter helped scout out some of his favorites during the Blue Jays exhibition match.

They include Troegs Sunshine Pils (Sec. 103) Prism’s Shady Blonde (Sec. 110) and Sly Fox’s Royal Weisse wheat beer in Section 114.

You’ll still have to do some exploring on your own, but these spots are a great place to start out you mapping out your preferred baseball-beer combos for the long season.
