Super slim Jennifer Hudson has come forward to shoot down Joy Behar’s claims that the actress wears a size zero, RadarOnline reports.
Back in August, Behar told “View” audiences she overheard a salesperson tell Hudson that she fit into a size zero while the two were shopping at the same store.
Behar says she approached Hudson, who once wore a size 16, and asked her how it felt to hear that she was a size zero.
Months later, Jennifer is coming forward to deny Behar’s claims following an onslaught of backlash from both critics and fans.
“I’m going to finally address that size-zero thing that Joy said on ‘The View,’” Jennifer revealed to Ebony magazine. “Hell, I wasn’t even on the show. I never said I was a size zero.”
Hudson added, “I got crucified by I don’t know how many people who cussed me out because they said I’m putting out the wrong message and telling people to be a size zero. I got called every name under the sun and was told, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself for talking about being that size.’ Well, honey, when I do say I’m that size, then give me that speech. I never said that.”
Her remarkable weight loss journey began two years ago when the actress signed on to be a spokesperson for the popular diet program Weight Watchers.
The actress has lost a total of 80 pounds since beginning her diet, but it isn’t the only thing she thinks about.
“People say I’m always dwelling on my size. No, I’m not! Everyone else is always dwelling on my size,” she said.
Size zero or not, we think Jennifer looks great!
