Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry is being investigated for criminal child endangerment and battery against their 3-year-old daughter Nahla, TMZ reports.
According to police reports obtained by TMZ, the 6-foot-4 male model Gabriel allegedly pushed his 5-foot-2 nanny into a door while she held his daughter in her arms.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Gabriel was supposed to take Nahla to school Wednesday but kept her home instead. It wasn’t until the nanny went to school to pick her up that she was informed of her absence.
According to the report, the nanny then went to Gabriel’s home, where she found Gabriel and Nahla. She picked up Nahla and began questioning Gabriel as to why he didn’t take her to school. He then allegedly lashed out at her.
As TMZ reported, Gabriel responded: “You’re the [expletive] nanny. Who do you think you are? You are a nobody. You don’t need to [expletive] know anything.” Gabriel then reportedly pushed the nanny out the door with his daughter in her arms.
The nanny, claiming she was injured, filed a police report. Police are investigating Gabriel for both misdemeanor child endangerment and misdemeanor battery, according to TMZ. Some sources also claim that child protective services has launched a probe of its own.
TMZ believes Halle is going to court tomorrow to secure legal protection of Nahla, nearly five months after Halle and Gabriel’s bitter custody battle was settled.
