Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman announced one of Hollywood’s biggest breakups in October. The couple called it quits after 30 years of marriage that produced three children.
Lawyers shouldn’t be too quick to draft divorce papers. When asked about his marriage the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star replied, “We’re working on it.” In an interview with Extra, DeVito hinted at a reunion.
“Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together,” explained DeVito.
The 67-year-old hasn’t quite adjusted to the single life either. “It’s not something you adjust to,” DeVito said while attending a concert to benefit Paul Newman’s Painted Turtle Camp.
Perlman has been keeping busy since the October split making the most of her time since the October split. She will be working alongside Kirstie Alley and “Seinfeld” star Michael Richards in the TV Land pilot, “Giant Baby.”
There hasn’t been any word as to whether or not Perlman is as open to patching things up with DeVito. Time will tell if reconciliation is in store.
