Auburn over #6 LSU
The battle of the Tigers. Auburn is pretty big underdogs heading into this weekend’s matchup in Baton Rouge, but a clutch rally at the end of last weekend’s game against Mississippi State has given them some momentum. They should be fired up against No. 6 LSU and, if they can take advantage of the Tigers’ inconsistent defensive play and win the turnover battle, this will be a much closer contest than most people expect.

#23 Arizona State over #5 Stanford
Stanford hasn’t really been tested yet this year and ASU is coming off five straight wins, including a big victory against Wisconsin at the Rose Bowl last weekend (regardless of the controversy). ASU’s defensive line will give Stanford’s offensive line a tough challenge and could possibly thwart a Cardinal offense that relies heavily on the run. On the offensive side of the ball for the Sun Devils, Marion Grice and Taylor Kelly are the keys to success and they have been great thus far. Stanford is very tough to beat at home, making this Pac-12 matchup anything but a certainty.

Michigan State over #22 Notre Dame
Michigan State isn’t ranked yet, but look for them to be following Week 4. The Fighting Irish are giving up an astounding 23.5 points a game after only allowing 12.8 last year (not to mention they returned eight starters on defense). Notre Dame barely got by a very poor Purdue team last week, and MSU is coming off of an impressive 547-yard performance in Week 3. The Irish offense will be the key to this game as the Spartans defense are only giving up an average of 177 yards per game, which is the best in the nation. Expect a game that will come down to the wire, but in the end the Spartans will prevail.
