2-4:55am ET:  Cross Country – Men’s 50 Kilometer Mass Start

Norway’s brash Petter Northrug dominated men’s cross country skiing from Vancouver & was looking to become the first Olympian in 90-years to defend the men’s 50K race title. But Northrug has struggled with no medals in Sochi.  He also provided motivation with some pointed trash talking against Russian medal favorite  Maksim Vylegzhanin, who will enjoy home crowd support in this race that concludes in Fisht Olympic Stadium.

4:30-6:45am ET:  Bobsled – Four Man – Final Two Runs

Steve Holcomb hopes to extend USA Bobsled’s Sochi medal run where American sleds have already captured three medals.  Holcomb piloted the USA four-man team to an historic gold medal in Vancouver but sits in fourth place after first two runs at the Sanki Sliding Center.

7-9:55am ET:  Ice Hockey – Men’s Gold Medal Game – Canada vs. Sweden

The last two gold medal winners – Canada (2010) & Sweden (2006) – meet for the men’s championship in Sochi. LA Kings’ Drew Doughty and Nashville Predator’ Shea Weber have keyed an ironclad Canadian defense that shutout Team USA while also contributing a big share of the Canadian goals.  New York Ranger & Sweden goalie Henrik Lundqvist has already established an Olympic record for career Olympic shutouts with four including two in Sochi.  Trying to match the high powered Canadian offensive firepower will be Ottawa Senators’ defenseman Erik Karlsson, who has four goals and four assists in Sochi.

11am-1:30pm ET:  Closing Ceremony

The largest ever Winter Olympic Games Closing Ceremony marks the conclusion of the Sochi Games.  Expected to be included are festive tributes to Russia and Sochi; the celebratory Parade of Athletes; the transfer of 2018 hosting to Pyeongchang; a preview of Korean culture as well as the extinguishing of the Olympic flame.
