So many questions come to mind when looking at this screenshot from Thursday’s Padres-Rockies matchup:
Is the MLB testing out a new form of the seventh-inning stretch?
Are players and umpires napping because games are too long?
Were the players attempting to recreate Phil Wellman’s famous tantrum from 10 years ago?
The answer to all of these is no.
What you’re looking at is a massive swarm of bees overtaking an infield. And to be honest, it looks horrifying.
