The Dark Knight held the box office crown for a third straight week, fending off the third installment in The Mummy franchise. The Bat-flick seems on target to become the second-highest grossing film of all time once it passes the $461 million mark set by Star Wars. On Monday or Tuesday, it will likely become the fastest film ever to reach $400 million, the 18 or 19 day haul shattering Shrek 2’s record of 43 days.
