For those not old enough to remember much of Shannen Doherty and the original 90210 drama, take it from us, it was painful on both viewers and the fans, with Doherty wreaking havoc on set with her angry antics and even walking out on the show (and several others afterwards). Everyone expected fireworks to fly when two of the actresses teamed up again for the new 90210, including the cast! “It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be,” Jennie Garth said to to TVGuide. “I’m not much of a small talker, and I don’t think she is either. I was a little nervous because I hadn’t seen or talked to her in 14 years.”
The actress felt a little different about Tori Spelling not reprising her role, which she said were due to salary differences. “I’m really bummed because I love Tori, and I was psyched Tori was going to be on the show,” adding that Tori should “definitely get paid as much” as herself and Doherty. Well, yeah, especially considering Tori’s daddy was the one responsible for the entire 90210 empire!
