Kate Hudson may have gorgeous blonde locks of her own, but her special brand of hair care may have landed her in a sticky legal situation. 220 Laboratories has filed 17 legal complaints against Kate Hudson and her eco-friendly hair care line, David Babaii for Wildaid. The company claims that Hudson and her people hired them to “develop and manufacture” the new ‘Vanuatu Complex’ but later went to a competing company with the secret ingredients to manufacture the concoction for a lower price.

Kate’s rep released a statement that said that the actress “does not know the plaintiffs and has never met with them or spoken with them. Her representatives believe that the claims are baseless and without merit and intend to vigorously defend the lawsuit.”
