The New York Daily News is reporting that one of the suspects in actor Mark Ruffalo’s brother’s death claims that the hairdresser shot himself while playing Russian Roulette.
Scott Ruffalo died Monday after he was taken off life support, one week after he was found outside his home in Beverly Hills with a gunshot wound to the head.
UPDATE: Suspect Shaha Adham has ben released:
“We expect the coroners report to show the shooting was a result of the victim’s chronic playing of Russian Roulette and his dangerous playing with firearms while under the use of controlled substances,” Shaha Adham’s lawyer Ronald Richards told the Daily News.
“My client was a good friend of the victim and is very sad for the loss of his family. However, she played no role whatsoever in his accidental death,” Richards said.
A statement released yesterday by Ruffalo’s representative reads: “Mark Ruffalo and his family deeply appreciate the outpouring of prayers and support during this most difficult time of the passing of Scott Ruffalo, beloved son, brother and husband.
