Heidi Montag on DWTS, A Heroes Breakup, Paging Dr. Noah Wyle, Again

Here’s what’s going on this afternoon:

Heidi Montag may have been in talks to be in the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. This means that we would have been forced to put up with Spencer Pratt’s perma-smile and flesh-colored beard cheering Heidi from the audience, in our livingroom every week. Scary thought.

American Idol is moving to 9pm once the live finals kick into gear in March, pitting the series in a competition against Lost. This is very bad news for the ABC show, which has seen diminished ratings and probably can’t compete with the juggernaut that is the singing show. Ladies, fire up your DVRs.

Noah Wyle is headed back to the ER this Thursday to reprise his role as the original McSteamy, Dr. Carter. Other stars from the show’s past have visited or are scheduled to guest star, including George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Anthony Edwards and Eriq LaSalle.

Heroes hotties Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia have reportedly split up, making for some very awkward set tension in the future. “It was a lifestyle difference,” said a source to Usmagazine.com. Meaning her lifestyle, at 19, is that of a teenager, while he’s pushing 35.
