The summer is finally here with the arrival of this big-time comic-book flick, and Hollywood is waiting with baited breath to see just how much having their movie pirated more than a month before its release is going to affect the box office. In this prequel to the X-Men series, we see how Logan (Hugh Jackman) was raised, how close he was to his illegitimate brother Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber), who will eventually become his hated enemy Sabretooth. Once Colonel Stryker (Danny Huston) enters their lives to turn them into a black-ops killing machine team alongside Wraith (, Zero (Daniel Henney), Fred (Kevin Durand), Bradley (Dominic Monaghan) and Wade (Ryan Reynolds), Logan eventually leaves them in the lurch to find his own peaceful way. But as we all know, the government rarely takes no for an answer, and Logan will soon find himself on a nasty revenge quest that takes him places he never wanted to go.

Matthew McConaughey is celebrity photographer Connor Mead, an inveterate lothario who has patterned his hedonistic love-em-and-leave-em life after his late Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas), but when he goes to his brother Paul’s (Breckin Meyer) wedding and threatens to ruin it with cynicism, Uncle Wayne appears to him to warn him not to waste his life, and three ghosts of girlfriends past, present and future remind him that he really loves Jenny (Jennifer Garner), the one he let get away.

The last remnants of humanity, having destroyed Earth, is traveling through space on a rickety starship when they find a planet that the aggressive General Hemmer (Brian Cox) wants to terraform into their new home. But when soldier Jim Stanton (Luke Wilson) meets native creature Mala (Evan Rachel Wood) and discovers that there’s already a very peaceful civilization on the planet that would be killed in the terraforming process, a battle is forced between the two races for the right to survive.
