NBC’s vice president of drama, Nora O’Brien, has passed away from a brain aneurysm on the set of the new series ‘Parenthood.’
The executive, 42, was visiting the set of the series, which stars Peter Krause, Maura Tierney and Erika Christensen, when she fell ill and died shortly thereafter.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends of our beloved colleague Nora, who was respected and cherished by so many people in the entertainment community,” NBC Universal said in a statement. “She’ll truly be missed by all of us.”
Production of the ‘Parenthood’ pilot has been shut down for the next two days.
