Lauren Conrad Back on ‘Hills’? Cleveland Show Picked Up, NBC-Palooza, And More

Conrad’s Baaack: The New York Post is reporting that Lauren Conrad may be back on ‘The Hills’ next season, after announcing that this season would be her last. She kind of realized, especially in this economy, there’s not much else out there for her,” said a source to the rag. “What else can she do that would earn as much?” Kristin Cavallari, one of the stars of the original show that gave ‘The Hills’ its start, may also come back. “She’s baaaack,” said the source about the starlett.

More Cleveland: ‘The Cleveland Show’ hasn’t even aired yet but the network already wants more, more more! Fox has ordered a second season of the ‘Family Guy’ spinoff, bringing the total episode order up to 35. The Seth MacFarlane produced project will premiere in fall, 2009.

New NBC Shows: “Heroes,” “Southland,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday” will be back next season, NBC has announced. New series in the upcoming lineup include “Trauma,” “Parenthood,” “Mercy”s “Day One” and the comedies, “Community” and “100 Questions”

Heroes To Fanboys: Milo Ventimiglia will co-produce and star in ‘Ultra-Dome’ a new web series where fanboys duke it out in a trivia-like showdown contest, aided by special effects. Questions will pose hypothetical questions to the nerds-in-training, such as “Who’s tougher, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, or Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones?” Milo explained his rationale for taking on the series, saying, “My whole life has been spent engaged with friends in intellectual debate … like whether Captain Kirk is tougher than Spock or if Middle Earth is a more difficult place to live than Tatooine.”
