CBS Goes Cold: THR is reporting that CBS will probably pick up ‘Cold Case,’ but the future ‘Without A Trace’ may be bleaker, as well as the future of ‘The Unit.’ Other plausible pickups include “Three Rivers,” “The Good Wife,” the “NCIS” spinoff, “U.S. Attorney” and “Miami Trauma.”

New Fox Schedule: Unofficial version of the possible new fall schedule for Fox are circulating the net. Some versions include ‘House’ on Mondays, ‘Fringe’ on Tuesday, ‘Dollhouse’ keeping its Friday spot, and ‘Cleveland Show’ landing on Sunday nights. Meanwhile, Fox has made the ‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ cancelation official. Fans will no doubt be left reeling.

Will Winnie Cooper Be Involved? PJ and Bobby hope they have finally found the perfect couple with whom to hang out in a Fred Savage-directed episode of ‘My Boys’ airing tomorrow. Martin Mull also guest stars. Catch a sneak peak on

‘Golden Girls’ 2.0?: Karen McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten) and Roberta (Lily Tomlin) may be involved in a ‘Desperate Housewives’ spinoff, following the sisters in an updated version of Marc Cherry’s ‘Golden Girls.’ Neal McDonough said on Friday’s The View: “I don’t know too much about it but I know they’re seriously talking about it and I think it would be a fun show to watch every week.”

Melrose Vampires: ‘Melrose Place’ and ‘Vampire Diaries’ both seem to be a go for the CW. Both projects were given permission to begin staffing, a good indicator of a positive outlook. ‘Vampire Diaries’, is based on Alloy’s series of books about a girl in a love triangle with two vampire brothers.
