‘Survivor,’ 1870’s Style: Mark Burnett – the man behind ‘Survivor’ – is involved in the History Channel’s ‘Expedition Africa.’ The show will follow four explorers as they embark to retrace the steps of one of the biggest expeditions ever to be undertaken – Journalist Henry Morton Stanley’s 1871 search to find British explorer Dr. David Livingstone. The contestants include a journalist, a survivalist, a reporter and a wildlife expert, and they can only use the tools used by the old time explorers. The show premieres this Sunday on the History Channel.
