“His comments relating to Tracy Grimshaw, who had interviewed Gordon the previous evening, were off the cuff and in response to heckling from the audience. His intention was to make a joke and indeed he did raise a big laugh at the time. However, with hindsight he realizes that his comments were inappropriate and offensive to Tracy Grimshaw. And he has unreservedly apologized both to her and anybody else who may have been upset.”
Foul-mouthed reality star Gordon Ramsay may have gone too far this time.
The celebrity chef launched an “obscene” verbal attack on a high-profile Aussie journalist over the weekend, while appearing at a food and wine expo.
And now the woman, whom Ramsay called a ‘lesbian’ and likened to a pig, is retaliating.
Tracy Grimshaw, who hosts “A Current Affair,” responded to the tirade on-air Monday night, calling Ramsay an “arrogant narcissist” and a “bully,” who is no longer welcome on her show, according to the AP.
“Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman who doesn’t find him attractive must be gay,” Grimshaw went on to say. “For the record, I don’t and I’m not.”
Ramsay initially dismissed the crude comments as a ‘joke,’ and said Tuesday in an interview that his remarks had been ‘blown out of context.’
