Country Awards: Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley won big at last night’s CMT Music Awards. Paisley snagged Male Video of the year, Collaborative Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year, while the country sweetheart won Female of the Year and Video of the Year. Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, George Strait, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Zac Brown Band and Director Trey Fanjoy also took home awards.

Virtual Insanity: The brilliant minds behind ‘Battlestar Galactica’ bring you ‘Virtuality’ on Fox. The series, which premieres with a 2-hour special June 26th, will follow a team of astronauts on a ten year mission to save the earth. To keep busy and entertained, the group accesses a ‘Second Life’ type world which mimics real earth. But things are not always as glossy as they seem in virtual worlds.
No Digital Mayhem: Just when you thought the world would come to an end when the digital transition occurred, the public manages to surprise you. Although about 900 stations shut off their analog stations last weekend, the numbers of households watching TV have remained steady. The numbers? About 52.1% of households watched television this past weekend, compared to 52.4% the weekend before that.
