In a quick response time, Universal apparently has cut a scene from Sacha Baron Cohen’s upcoming comedy Bruno which features his outlandish gay German character mocking the Jackson family. The scene, which features Bruno pranking LaToya Jackson and stealing Michael Jackson’s phone number from her, played at earlier European premieres, but was said to be cut from last night’s Los Angeles premiere. One would think it’s just too soon for the theatrical release, but the scene would most likely show up on the eventual DVD in some form. One also has to wonder whether or not the famously controversial Cohen had any say in this decision.
