Larry David Reunites ‘Seinfeld’ Cast On ‘Curb’

The original ‘Seinfeld‘ cast is working together for the first time in 11 years. Thank Larry David, creator and star of HBO’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,” for organizing the reunion.

“I have always said there is not going to be a reunion show. They are lame,” David told the NY Post.

“Then I started to think ‘What if I did this so called reunion show on Curb?’ And this idea really resonated with me.”

It also resonated with Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander. They came together for a five-episode arc that will feature them preparing for a fictional ‘Seinfeld’ episode and also bring back show sidekicks Newman and Bania.

David explained the four stars won’t be seen together in all five episodes. The actual reunion will take place in the season finale, which could be turned into an hour-long special.

Asked if Richards’ troubles from a few years ago will be addressed, David smiled and said, “Perhaps.”

“It was an exhilarating experience for everyone,” he said.
