Grant Show Back On ‘Melrose Place’?

At the TCA press panel for his new CBS sitcom ‘Accidentally On Purpose,Grant Show was asked if he’d be returning to the new ‘Melrose Place‘ reboot on the CW this fall as Jake Hanson.

Show seemed open to the idea saying, “We just haven’t found the right formula yet. We’ve been talking though. I’m not opposed to it – it might happen. Maybe next season.”

If Show were to reprise his TV roots and return to the famous apartment complex, he’d join previous castmates Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro and Daphne Zuniga who have already committed to appearing on the new series.

In the meantime, Show’s new series is a half-hour comedy about what happens when a 30-something single woman gets pregnant after a one-night stand with a much younger man.

‘Accidentally On Purpose’ stars Jenna Elfman, who explained the difficulty in finding another series after her success on ‘Dharma and Greg.’ “I love comedy so much. I was bound and determined to find another show. It’s been a challenging last four or five years of my life – I’ve been doing nothing but trying to find another TV show that inspires me and I’m so grateful.”

The book is based on a memoir written by real-life movie critic Mary Pols, who is now a movie critic for Time magazine, and still keeps in touch with her “baby daddy.” In fact, executive producer Claudia Lonow said the two “watched the pilot together and had a great time. They shared a lot of laughs.”

Lonow went on to explain that the series would be broken up into first trimester episodes, second trimester episode, and third trimester episodes, which could air in any order.
