DJ AM’s Hollywood Sendoff

The DJ Am memorial took place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Thursday evening, and was structured like an Alcoholics Anonymous 12-step meeting.

The Hollywood club that was chosen was actually the first place where the celebrity DJ performed after his near-death airplane accident back in February. Guests took part in a chat that mimicked the rehabilitation process, and remained anonymous during the ceremony.

Lindsay Lohan, Robert Downey Jr. Nicole Richie, Samantha Ronson, Jon Favreau, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Tom Arnold, Nicole Richie, Bijou Phillips, John Mayer, Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart were among the guests at the memorial.

The 36-year old DJ, real name Adam Goldstein, was found dead last Friday in his New York apartment of an apparent drug overdose.
