On Demand in HD: “Next Day Air,” “Dance Flick”

Comcast On Demand has a pair of comedy offerings debuting today in lovely high definition. Next Day Air opened opposite Star Trek at the beginning of summer, so there’s a good chance you didn’t even notice it came out. Now you’ve got a chance to take a look-see at this kooky caper comedy. On the other hand, you can check out the Wayans family’s latest outing spoofing dance flicks. It’s entitled, appropriately enough, Dance Flick.

Next Day Air
Check out this drug-soaked action comedy. Donald Faison and Mos Def star as deliverymen who drop off a huge box of narcotics at the wrong apartment, leading to crazy mistaken-identity hijinks and gunplay as the angry dealers try to track down where their product went, and the two low-rent hoodlums who get the package (Wood Harris, Mike Epps) try to capitalize on their unexpected gain.

Dance Flick
The never-ending Wayans family is back with a new spoof, abandoning the “Movie” model for the “Flick” schtick. This time, they’re riffing on the dance movie craze. They got jokes!
