Tuned In: What’s Hot In The World Of TV

Tonight is the second-season premiere of ‘The City,’ and get ready for a whole new show. No longer is it a look at ‘The Hills’ alum Whitney Port making her way in New York. It’s evolved into a series about workplace drama and young girls finding their way in the fashion workplaces. Whitney of course is back, as is ice queen Olivia, and a feisty new addition is Roxy Olin, who comes to the Big Apple, moves in with Whit and works at People’s Revolution under the delicious Kelly Cutrone along with Whitney (Read an article on Roxy right here). Less ‘The Hills‘ and more “Devil Wears Prada,” the show gets off to a quick start tonight at 10:30pm on MTV as Roxy makes her presence felt. Of course there will still be boy drama, but that will come into play later in the season. Right now it’s all about these young women making their way in the fashion world, and doing whatever it takes. (Watch a trailer for the new season right here).

Tomorrow Night:

If you already miss ‘The Real World,’ fear not because tomorrow night is the return of ‘The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins.’ These shows have become even more popular than the flagship series they are based on, with many of your past favorites returning to duke it out for money, backstab, hookup and betray their closest friends.
