‘Top Model’ Gets A New Judge

Kimora Lee Simmons is headed back to ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ despite word that she may not have gotten along so well with Tyra Banks during her first appearance on the series.

The fashionista will serve as a judge on the show’s 14th season. She was also a judge on season one but left for unspecified reasons.

But Simmons’ appearance may have something to do with Banks’ problems with past ‘ANTM’ celebs – Janice Dickinson and Paulina Porizkova. “Tyra is obsessed with people’s perception of her and was not happy when Porizkova and Dickinson said they didn’t get along,” said a source to NY Daily News. “So Tyra called Kimora to prove the notion [that she doesn't work well with others] wrong.”

And that’s not all. The divalicious Miss J Alexander was asked to leave his judging duties behind and return to his original gig as the show’s  runway coach. “No one is sure why Miss J has been demoted from being a judge back to just doing the runway coaching,” said the source.

Simmons is the founder and creative director for Phat (and formerly Baby Phat) fashion line. Her ex-husband is entertainment mogul Russell Simmons.
