Jon & Kate Plus 8‘ is out and ‘Cake Boss‘ is in on TLC as the network announced that the baking program will replace the Gosselins by the end of November, according to the New York Post.

The ‘Jon & Kate’ Nov. 23 finale will mark the end of the tabloid darling show and will officially separate Jon Gosselin from TLC — the two are currently battling issues out in court.

Previously announced plans to re-brand the show ‘Kate Plus 8’ have been scrapped but the Post notes that TLC is currently developing another show for Kate Gosselin.

‘Cake Boss,’ set in Hoboken and following Carlo’s Bakery owner Buddy Valastro, has been airing at 10 p.m. so the move to the 9 p.m. ‘Jon & Kate’ slot could boost the already strong performing show — ‘Cake Boss’ averages more than 2 million viewers each week.
