After ‘Dancing,’ Mya Lands ‘Mercy’ Guest Spot

Mya, who finished second on the just completed season of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ has landed a guest-starring spot on NBC’s hospital drama, ‘Mercy.’

She will play “the guitar-slinging, melodramatic daughter of a dying 80-year-old man who’s under the care of Chloe (Michelle Trachtenberg),” according to Entertainment Weekly.

It’s a nice reward for the multi-talented Grammy Award-winner, 30.

After the ‘DWTS’ finals, Mya admitted feeling disappointed she didn’t win (Donny Osmond was crowned this season’s champ) despite many weeks of turning in near-flawless performances. But she quickly rebounded, telling E! in a post-show interview that she was feeling a whirlwind of emotions.

“There’s disappointment, dedication, passion and commitment. I’ve learned multiple amounts of things. It’s an experience that you’ll never forget for the rest of your life and that you want to share with others.”

Watch Mya perform the Cha Cha Cha.

By the next morning, she was doing that – sharing on Twitter.

“I’ve had the time of my life,” she wrote to her fans.

“Mercy’ is a first-year hospital drama focused on the nurses of Mercy Hospital. It stars Taylor Schilling, Michelle Trachtenberg and Jamie Lee Kirchner. Watch the latest episode below.
