Bill Maher and his fellow late-night political jokesters have just lost a major source of laughs in 2012 after Fox News host Glenn Beck killed any speculation about his running on a Palin-Beck presidential ticket, according to the Huffington Post.
Beck took to his radio show Thursday to dispel any rumors, although he did “joke” about a possible Beck-Palin ticket: “Can you imagine what an administration with the two of us would be like? What? Come on!”
Talk of a possible pairing came after Sarah Palin told Fox News she thought the idea of her and Beck running was a kick, saying “Glenn Beck I have great respect for. He’s a hoot.” “Hoot” might have been the word that broke Beck’s back — after hearing Palin’s comments Beck said, “I would never use the word hoot, and I respectfully ask that every time my name is brought up she would stop using the word ‘hoot.'”
Think Progress broke down more of Beck’s comments on the matter, claiming the host thinks “a woman’s appropriate place on a presidential ticket is in the number two spot.”
