Joan Rivers will head back to her old red carpet stomping ground in the new year.
Rivers, 76, is returning to E! to host the ‘Fashion Police’ segments for post-Golden Globes and SAG Awards segments. She will be joined by Khloe Kardashian Odom (‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘), Giuliana Rancic (E! host, ‘Giuliana & Bill‘), and Jay Manuel (‘ANTM‘).
Her daughter Melissa Rivers will produce the shows.
Rivers exited from her previous pre-show red carpet duties at E! and joined the TV Guide Network as a red carpet host in 2003, but left in 2007 and was replaced by Lisa Rinna. The comedian also competed in ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ with daughter Melissa in 2009, and won the season.
“Joan is a true entertainment icon and one of the funniest people in Hollywood. We are extremely excited to have her back at E!” said executive VP of programming Lisa Berger.
Melissa Rivers shared her excitement on Twitter, writing “Yes, it’s true. JR and I are heading back to E! Fashion Police. JR is hosting, I’m producing. Fun!!!!!”
The Golden Globes edition of ‘Fashion Police’ airs Monday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m., and the SAG segment on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 9 p.m.
