Fergie, Jane Lynch Saddle Up For ‘Cleveland Show’

Hot off the heels of Jane Lynch’s upcoming appearance on ‘The Cleveland Show‘ this Sunday, show creator Mike Henry revealed details of Fergie’s feisty new role on the show.

The Black Eyed Peas star will play an abusive substitute lover in the show’s upcoming Valentine’s Day episode.

“Holt, one of Cleveland’s friends, played by Jason Sudeikis from SNL, decides he’s gonna get rid of his sex doll and he finds a woman played by Fergie,” Henry told us on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday. “But she turns out to be very abusive and he basically gets beat down and decides to go back to his sex doll.”

Fergie will be kicking some animated butt!

Jane Lynch, ‘Glee’s bitter Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester, is also hopping on board this Sunday to play Mrs. Eck, Roberta’s teacher who forces her to alter her appearance.

But there’s a slight problem: When Cleveland’s son, Cleveland Jr. befriends the disguised Roberta, he falls in love with her.

“She challenges Roberta to wear a fat suit and see where her life her life goes,” added the show’s mastermind. “Because Roberta is actually really hot.”

This season viewers will also be treated to a rap-off between Cleveland Jr. and Kanye West, and a special Black History Month episode, “where I, voicing a black man,” said Mike Henry. “Go toe to toe with [Kevin Michael Richardson, who is black], voicing a white man.”

Sounds like it’s gonna be a good 2010 year after all, thanks to ‘Cleveland Show.’
