‘Avatar’ Now Second Biggest Movie of All Time

James Cameron now has the top two highest-grossing films of all time. His 1997 phenomenon Titanic is still holding onto the top spot, but the breakneck box office pace of Avatar and its miniscule audience drop-offs has landed his decade-long labor of love into the #2 slot in only 20 days. As far as the domestic top ten goes, it’s just now cracked the list, nudging Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith down to #11.
