This is the film Roman Polanski had to finish from prison. Ewan McGregor stars as a successful ghost writer who is charged with handling the memoirs of a former British Prime Minister (Pierce Brosnan) who may or may not have committed war crimes (and who bears not a passing resemblance to Tony Blair). The resulting scandal leads him to search for the dark truth about the connection to the CIA.

Alexis Bledel stars as a New York girl who finds herself in the middle of a love triangle with an upwardly-mobile Wall Street worker (Scott Porter) and his bookish friend (Bryan Greenberg), who he’s incidentally been schooling in the ways of careerism and seduction.

Celine Dion mounted a worldwide string of concerts called the Taking Chances tour throughout 2008-9, and now the experience is documented. Celine is a bit of an oddball. How, you say? Watch this.
