Rocky romances, family feuds, birthin’ babies and–athlete discrimination?–added a dash of excitement to the fourth-season finale of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’

On Sunday night’s finale, we learned that Scott Disick is a bad habit that Kourtney Kardashian can’t kick, especially to the curb. Nearly five million people tuned in to watch Kourtney cave-in and stand by her much-loathed man, making it the most watched program in the E! Channel’s history.

In the first part of the finale, it looked as though she might have given up on her relationship with the immature playboy after he insulted her mother and made a fool of himself in Las Vegas. Kourtney even changed the locks at their shared condo to keep him out. However, the two were seen smooching it up in Las Vegas this weekend, putting to rest the rumors (and hopes) of their break up.

“Scott is my partner and we do everything together,” Kourtney told People before entering the Jet nightclub in Vegas. The club was hosting a fashion show by DASH, the sisters’ clothing store.

Seemingly unconcerned about the infidelity allegations surrounding the father of her two-month-old baby, Kourtney says of the rumors, “You can’t take it too seriously.”

Kourtney’s outspoken mother Kris probably wasn’t too thrilled about the news. She has no problem showing Scott exactly how she feels. “I’ll never be able to trust him with my daughter or my grandchild,” she said on the show. “There’s no place for Scott in our family any more. It’s just too dangerous.”

“When I hear Kris’s voice, I hear anger at all times,” Disick told Ryan Seacrest, who is an executive producer of the show, in a radio interview last Thursday. Scott went on to say that he does not receive the same respect from Kourtney’s parents because he’s not a successful athlete, like Kim’s boyfriend NFL star Reggie Bush and Khloe’s new hubby NBA star Lamar Odom.

“Kris just thinks that if you’re an athlete you tend to be a better person,” Scott said to Seacrest.

“Kourtney being with Scott is Kourtney’s decision and I, as a parent, have to respect that,” Bruce Jenner told Seacrest on his radio show last week. He even ended up defending Scott saying, “Scott has been very good lately. He’s been a great dad and he seems to have a great relationship with little Mason.”

Baby daddy drama aside, the couple was excitedly Tweeting while they watched the finale and the birth of the newest Kardashian all over again.

“It’s so crazy watching Mason being born with Mason,” the proud mama Tweeted.

Scott was actually glad to have the cameras around for once. The new dad Tweeted, “This is when a reality show pays off, great to have this as a memory!”
