Opening: Green Zone, Remember Me, Family Wedding, Out Of My League

Here’s what’s opening in theaters nationwide this weekend. We’ve got Bourne guys Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass teaming up for Green Zone, R-Pattz branching out from moody vampires to play a moody college kid in Remember Me, crazy nuptial hijinks in Our Family Wedding and crazy ladder-theory tomfoolery in She’s Out Of My League. In selected cities, there’s a critically acclaimed detective tale with a unique twist in Mother.

Matt Damon teams up with his Bourne Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass to tell a story about a warrant officer in Iraq determined to hunt down evidence of WMDs, only to find an elaborate cover-up with each new intelligence failure. Greg Kinnear is a CIA operative trying to pull strings, and Amy Ryan stars as an investigative journalist from the New York Times looking into the government’s claims.

Robert Pattinson is a troubled young New Yorker at odds with his father (Pierce Brosnan) and living with a fairly jerky roommate (Tate Ellington) in the summer of 2001. When he spitefully starts dating the daughter (Emilie De Ravin) of an angry cop (Chris Cooper) who roughed him up, he’s surprised to find someone close to a soulmate in her.
