That didn’t take long. The New York Post reported Monday that reality TV mom Kate Gosselin is acting like “a total diva” behind the scenes on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

A source for Page Six claims Kate has been “snubbing other contestants” and acting “frostily” toward the crew.

“Kate doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants,” a ‘DWTS’ ‘insider’ says. “While there’s a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars including Pamela Anderson, Kate has set herself apart … She wants to be queen bee.”

The abrasive reality star may be just trying to focus on the challenge, as she recently admitted she’s determined to win the competition, saying “I’ve gotta kill this.”

And didn’t Kate say she’s been training in the basement of her Pa. home? How can she already be causing trouble on the set when she hasn’t really even spent much time in the ballroom yet?

Indeed, another show source refutes the above claim saying, “She’s been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids. For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.”

There have been recent pics of Gosselin–with her latest new ‘do–looking rather stressed out. Perhaps she’s just shell-shocked over the reality of what it takes to compete on ‘DWTS,’ a notoriously grueling competition. Then again, nothing seems more grueling than mothering eight children under the age of 10 on a daily basis, right?

Do you think crucified Kate is just an easy target? Is she unfairly criticized? Or is she really just an ice queen?

The tenth season of ‘DWTS’ tangos back into prime-time on Monday, March 22 on ABC.
