Fresh off well-deserved honors at the Academy Awards, ‘Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire‘ was the top movie On Demand from Comcast for the week ending March 14, 2010.

For those who haven’t seen the film, ‘Precious’ is the story of an overweight, illiterate Harlem teen who, while pregnant with her second child, enrolls in an alternative school in hopes that her life can head in a new direction. (Watch a preview below.)
