My dear Losties, there’s good news and there’s bad news regarding our beloved ‘Lost.’

Let’s get the bummer part out of the way: ‘Lost’ will be taking a break during the week of April 27th. That’s right–no new episode that week! They will instead air a repeat of the Black Rockin’ Richard Alpert flashback, so at least the night won’t be completely ‘Lost’-less. *I’ve posted the rest of ‘Lost’s airing schedule below.

Now the good news: ABC announced there will be a series finale post-show special on Jimmy Kimmel, airing immediately after the monster, mind-bending and inevitably heart-breaking two-hour series ender of ‘Lost’ on Sunday, May 23.

Highlights of the hour include “an analysis of the two-hour conclusion, an appearance by executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, and live interviews with several of the show’s cast,” according to EW.

Fans of Kimmel know he is a huge ‘Lost’ geek like the rest of us cool kids, so I’m expecting ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost’ to be highly entertaining and informative, so set your DVRs now.

Did you catch all the clues in last week’s episode of ‘Lost’? Why is Jin’s watch significant? What’s special about the mirrors? Did you decode the subliminal messages in Room 23? Check out my ‘Lost’ analysis on ‘The Package.’

And if you’re dying to know what happens next, you’re in luck.
