Comcast On Demand today premieres a pair of independent films that couldn’t be more different. On one hand, there’s the dark, brooding detective yarn The Missing Person, and then there’s the slapstick Broken Lizard comedy The Slammin’ Salmon. If you’ve got Comcast cable, you can dial both of these movies up right now from your own home. Take a closer look below.

The Missing Person
Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon stars in this Sundance modern-day film noir as a private dick down on his luck hired to follow a mysterious yet schlubby man trying to disappear from his life across the country without what kind of shady business he’s getting himself into. Fellow Oscar nominee Amy Ryan also stars.

The Slammin’ Salmon
Slammin’ Cleon Salmon (Michael Clarke Duncan) is an ex-boxer running a Miami seafood joint, and the Broken Lizard guys (Super Troopers) are the bumbling, goofball wait staff in this goofy comedy.
