Pyrotechnics-fetishizing filmmaker Michael Bay (‘Transformers,’ ‘Armageddon’) is partnering with Magical Elves (the producers of such series as ‘Project Runway’ and ‘Top Chef’) to develop ‘One Way Out,’ an action-adventure reality program.

‘One Way Out’s makers promise a series that is “true to [Bay’s] signature style, bringing hard-hitting storytelling and a cinematic, aggressive visual approach,” Variety reports.

Presumably, the titles ‘Project Run For Your Lives!’ and ‘Over-The-Top Chef’ were already taken?

Bay and the Elves describe ‘One Way Out’ as “a game with no rules” in which the players “have secret pasts that must be kept hidden from their fellow competitors, setting the stage for an intense game of trust and betrayal.”

Thus far it sounds like a dinner hosted by Jesse James.

The producers’ snapshot summary goes on to say that ‘One Way Out’ will build “towards a climactic showdown where all secrets are exposed and a shocking development revealed.”

Bay himself touts the project as one that “has never done before,” boasting “unique twists, death-defying challenges, and stunning visuals.”

And mediocre dialogue? But hey, get Megan Fox to host and we are there.

‘One Way Out’ is currently being pitched to assorted outlets.
