It’s hard to believe, but the second season of ‘Jersey Shore’ sounds like it might be even raunchier and more offensive than the first.

The show, which stars new pop culture stars Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D. and Mike “The Situation,” has been shooting in and around Miami’s South Beach.

The apparent instructions: par-tee!

The latest report from called the action “out of control.”

“Mike, Pauly D, and Vinny are getting so many girls that they’ve started keeping a scoreboard at the house.” a source close to the cast told the celebrity gossip website. “They’re being followed constantly by an entourage of women.”

Some scenes are reportedly too hot for television. Maybe by design.

“The Jersey Shore stars have to push the envelope to stay in the news,” says Us magazine editor Lindsay Powers. “If they were playing bocce ball and just working on their tans at the beach, nobody would care! There is no such thing as too hot for TV with Jersey Shore. It was Snooki getting punched by a man — and the attention that went along with that — that made this show a hit in the first place!”

So expect more of the same. As reported earlier, Snooki, a central character last season in a controversial barroom altercation, was involved in another boozy mashup.

Last week, in Miami’s Ocean’s 10 bar, she threw a drink and slapped a guy who tried to pick her up. He turned around and doused her with his drink.

All was caught on tape – but unlike the previous season, the cops weren’t called and there most likely won’t be any cautionary messages about violence against women.

Instead, the show’s cast members will be giving relation advice on a new Vh1 special, ‘Undateable: The Top 100 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won’t Be Dating or Having Sex,’ airing Monday May 10 at 10pm ET/PT.

The second season of Jersey Shore returns to MTV on July 29.
