“I have to say I didn’t [vote]…I mean, my phone was broken and my laptop was gone. Jake took my laptop to vote on it,” she explained. (Jake voted for himself, of course.) “I’m sorry!”
Jake laughed along and said that his partner will choreograph his wedding dance with fiancé Vienna Girardi. “But I wont be invited to the wedding dance,” Chelsie said.
Speaking of that wedding, Jake told ‘Good Morning America‘ today that they still haven’t cemented their wedding plans. “We don’t have a date yet. We’ve got Florida and Texas, and we’ve got family in both so we’re trying to figure out a good place to have a wedding.”
One future plan is certain, though: Spend time with his fiancé. “Vienna has been amazing,” he told ‘GMA.’ “She’s been the cornerstone through all of this, cooking me breakfast every morning. She brings Chelsie and I lunch a lot of times. And, I owe her big. She put her life on hold for me to do this so I’m gonna go romance my bride.”
His future as a pilot, however, is a bit fuzzy. On ‘GMA’ he said, “Flying, no matter what happens, will always be a huge part of my life.” But, on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ he said, “I’ve been blessed with time off from the airline. I’m still employed there…I think…You never know what door God’s gonna open next.”
In case anyone missed it, last night’s elimination was the most tearful one in recent memory as Jake could barely get through his goodbyes. “Yeah, you know I didn’t really expect that,” he told ‘GMA.’ “But that’s kind of just how I felt. It really meant something to me being here on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and I guess in that moment I was just so grateful to have had been able to dance with Chelsie for six episodes and do well. I still am really sad to say goodbye to the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family and ABC.”
Now that they’re no longer in the running, who do they think will take home the disco ball trophy? Chelsie chose Nicole Scherzinger, while Jake chose Erin Andrews.
