‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Makes Time’s Top 100 List

Associated Press Writer

NEW YORK — ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele is joining the ranks of Brazil’s president and Lady Gaga as an honoree in Time magazine’s 100 most influential people issue.

The 23-year-old triple threat co-stars as the annoyingly ambitious Rachel Berry on the Fox network hit show, a role that garnered her a Best Actress nomination at the Golden Globes.

The Time issue, on newsstands now, honors influential artists, heroes, leaders and thinkers.

On Tuesday, Michele will announce the 64th annual Tony nominations along with Jeff Daniels. She’s starred on Broadway in ‘Spring Awakening’ and has also appeared in ‘Fiddler on the Roof” and ‘Les Miserables.’

Michele is also preparing for “Glee Live,” a sold-out, nationwide tour that kicks off in May.
