Burt Reynolds Spies ‘Burn Notice’ Role

That ’70s guy, Burt Reynolds, will guest-star on ‘Burn Notice‘ when the USA Network series returns on June 3.

The veteran movie actor and onetime ‘Cosmopolitan’ pin-up will play Paul Anderson, a legendary and now retired CIA operative.

“Things have not gone well for him since he left the spy service,” series creator Matt Nix tells EW.com. “He’s now working as a bartender under an assumed name, and he gets into trouble with some very nasty Russian guys.”

As such, Reynolds’ character – himself a CIA castoff – will offer up a bit of a cautionary tale to Michael Westen (played by Jeffrey Donovan).

Reynolds’ episode will air sometime during ‘Burn Notice’s upcoming fourth season.
