‘Dancing With the Stars‘ is getting too predictable.
Every week, Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger blows our minds, Erin Andrews and Evan Lysacek battle it out for the second best, and Niecy Nash and Chad Ochocinco struggle to keep up.
So it was no surprise whatsoever when tonight’s results came in. Last night’s bottom two on the leaderboard – Chad and Cheryl Burke and Niecy and Louis Van Amstel – were also tonight’s bottom two. It’s kind of hard to make a dramatic television show out of that.

Niecy Nash got the boot. Between her “avalanche” of a Paso Doble and the “push and pull” of her Viennese Waltz last night, it would have been shocking if she wasn’t sent packing. “I am a 40-year-old mother of three. I have three C sections under my belt. I was able to survive in this competition this long against some fantastic people with the fact that I cannot Hula hoop with a Cheerio,” said Niecy. “I’m a happy girl.”
Before the elimination, we were treated to an encore performance of Nicole and Derek’s ’50s inspired Paso Doble, which Len Goodman dubbed “probably the dance of the season and possibly the dance of all 10 seasons.”
We also loved the performance of the Gypsy Kings’ “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from ‘Toy Story 3,’ which reminded us just how damn good Cheryl really is when she has a good partner (sorry Chad!). Her Paso Doble was perfection and showed why this pro has two ‘DWTS’ wins under her belt.
Favorite moment of the show, though? The DanceCenter segment where Len, Jerry Rice, and Kenny Mayne made fun of Evan’s boring personality by snoring through one of his typical robotic interviews.
How about co-host Brooke Burke’s teleprompter misread. How many is that for her now? We’re starting to miss Samantha Harris big time!
