How will it end? How will it end!? Even David Letterman wants to know how ‘Lost‘ will end when the series wraps up after six seasons on May 23.
Ever the artful dodger, Lostie Evangeline Lilly handled the interrogation like a tight-lipped super spy Monday night when she dropped by ‘The Late Show with David Letterman.’
After admitting she didn’t have a TV–and admitting that she doesn’t even think the writers know the entire backstory of the show–Lilly talked about the big series finale. And in ‘Lost’ speak, that means she told us absolutely nothing.
“The finale, without giving too much away,” Lilly teases getting our hopes up, “holds true to our ‘Lost’ traditions.” What does that mean Dave says befuddled. “It represents the show nicely,” Evie said grinning.
When Dave, grasping for logic, brought up the controversial cliffhanger ending of ‘The Sopranos,’ Lilly joked, “that sounds like the ending of every other ‘Lost’ episode.”

After teasing Dave over his hoping for the ‘Dream Out,’ the ‘Lost’ dream girl finally ‘gave in’ and ‘spoiled’ the final scene of ‘Lost’ for us:
“What happens is … Jack is running through the forest and then he falls asleep and when he wakes up, he says, ‘I just had the weirdest dream.'”
‘Lost’ airs tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC.
