She watched from the sidelines all season and now Jake Pavelka’s fiancé Vienna Girardi gets her shot at the ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ dance floor.
Reps for the show confirmed that the couple will dance the Viennese Waltz on Tuesday night’s finale. Their song? Jeffrey Osborne’s ‘On the Wings of Love,’ of course, as it was the subtitle of the season of ‘The Bachelor‘ that Jake and Vienna were on.
“I’m very nervous,” Vienna told Fancast sister site, E! Online. “Jake’s been telling everyone that I’m a really good dancer, but I’m really not. The expectations are too high for me.”
The season finale, which airs Monday and Tuesday nights, pits Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, Olympic skater Evan Lysacek, and ESPN star Erin Andrews up against each other for the coveted mirror ball trophy. The three couples will perform three dances: the redemption dance, which is the style that the judges felt each couple underperformed. For Erin and Maks it’s the Samba. For Evan and Anna it’s the Viennese Waltz, and for Nicole and Derek it’s the Rumba.
They will also perform a “no rules” freestyle dance and their favorite dance of the season. For the first time in the history of the show, everyone picked the same dance: the Argentine Tango. After one couple goes, the remaining two couples will perform a fourth dance.
All of the season’s contestants – and their pro partners – will be back as well. And, get this, Kate Gosselin will perform a high wire act. We kid you not.
Are you excited to see Jake and Vienna dance together? Who do you think will win Tuesday night?
