Anderson’s ‘Facing Kate’ role is that of David Smith, a charismatic but secretive man who enters Kate’s life shortly after the death of her father. In short order, it is revealed that David has deeper connections to the Reed family.

Earlier this month, Anderson reprised his role of ‘SG-1’s Jack O’Neill on Syfy’s ‘Stargate Universe.’

Shahi’s ‘Facing Kate’ costars include Michael Trucco (‘Battlestar Galactica’), Virginia Williams (‘Monarch Cove’) and Baron Vaughn (‘The Awkward Comedy Show’). Production began June 16 in Vancouver.
